Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G connects broadcast cameras with SDI connections to SMPTE 2110 IP video systems. Its 12G-SDI connection supports SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p60 and also handles the program return to the camera.
Blackmagic 2110 IP converters connect SDI and HDMI equipment to SMPTE 2110 broadcast networks over 10G Ethernet with PTP sync; they can also be managed over the network.
What the 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G is for
It mounts on or next to the camera: the operator gets program and talkback, with a 5-pin XLR headset connector, volume control and press to talk button. Talkback travels on channels 15 and 16 of SDI and 2110.
Connections and power
1 SDI input and 1 output, 1 RJ45 10G Ethernet port for 2110 video in and out, 5-pin XLR headset connector. Power from Ethernet or the included 12V supply, 18 W consumption.
