Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Presentation Converter – SMPTE 2110 podium converter for presenters
Blackmagic 2110 IP Presentation Converter is designed for speaker podiums, with connections for laptops, projectors and microphones in one unit. Computers connect over USB-C for video and power, and the HDMI output for projectors can show the video input or the 2110 IP return feed.
Blackmagic 2110 IP converters connect SDI and HDMI equipment to SMPTE 2110 broadcast networks over 10G Ethernet with PTP sync; they can also be managed over the network.
What the 2110 IP Presentation Converter is for
It is used in conference rooms, auditoriums, universities and TV studios with IP facilities: the speaker connects the laptop, the control room receives the signal over the network and returns it to the projector. For audio there are XLR mic inputs and an XLR output to the PA.
Connections and power
2 USB-C inputs (front and rear, with 45 W computer charging), HDMI 2.0 in and out, SDI output with automatic standards conversion, RJ45 10G Ethernet for 2110 video in and out, panel with 3 buttons, knob and color display. Internal 100-240V supply; Ethernet can power the whole converter.
How to choose
For monitoring only on HDMI screens, the 2110 IP Mini IP to HDMI is enough.
