ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD is a live production switcher for broadcast control rooms, with 4 M/E rows. It has 40 3G-SDI inputs with standards conversion on every input and 24 independent outputs, plus multiview, built in talkback and a professional Fairlight audio mixer.
What the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation HD is for
It doubles the resources of the 2 M/E: 4 DVEs, 16 keyers, 4 multiviews and 2 SuperSource, for 12 DVEs in total. It is designed for large TV studios, sports and OB vans in HD with many cameras and outputs, and has two internal power supplies. It works in HD up to 1080p60.
Production features
16 ATEM Advanced upstream keyers with chroma key, 4 downstream keyers, 2 SuperSource for multi box compositions, 4 media players with stills and clips, a 156 channel Fairlight audio mixer with 6 band parametric EQ and dynamics (expander, gate, compressor, limiter).
Control and power
It is controlled with the free ATEM Software Control for Mac and Windows, with ATEM Advanced Panel hardware panels connected over Ethernet or, for emergencies, from the front fascia controls. Talkback on RJ45 for third party systems. Estimated power consumption: 147 W, 2 internal 100-240V supplies.
How to choose
For Ultra HD at the same size there are Constellation 8K (which also works in Ultra HD) and the 4 M/E Constellation 4K Plus.
