ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP is a live production switcher for broadcast control rooms, with 4 M/E rows. It has 32 IP SMPTE 2110 inputs with standards conversion on every input and 32 independent outputs, plus multiview, built in talkback and a professional Fairlight audio mixer.
What the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP is for
It is a native SMPTE 2110 switcher with 100G Ethernet connections: all IP video connections are redundant and SMPTE 2022-7 compliant, and 12G-SDI connections can be added with a converter. Any output can be program, aux or multiview. Control uses 2 x 10G RJ45 Ethernet ports for panels, NMOS and media loading.
Production features
16 ATEM Advanced upstream keyers with chroma key, 4 downstream keyers, 2 SuperSource for multi box compositions, 4 media players with stills and clips, a 68 channel Fairlight audio mixer, integrated with Fairlight Live.
Control and power
It is controlled with the free ATEM Software Control for Mac and Windows, with ATEM Advanced Panel hardware panels connected over Ethernet or, for emergencies, from the front fascia controls. Talkback on RJ45 for third party systems. Maximum power consumption: 250 W, 2 internal 100-240V supplies with IEC C14 inlets.
How to choose
The Plus version doubles inputs and outputs (64 and 64); for SDI facilities there are the Constellation 4K models and Constellation 8K.
