ATEM Microphone Converter adds microphones and external audio sources to ATEM Television Studio switchers: it plugs into the switcher MADI port and provides 4 analog mic or line inputs with phantom power. Several converters can be daisy chained for more sources, with no complex setup.
What the ATEM Microphone Converter is for
It is designed for talk shows, video podcasts, conferences and TV studios that need more microphones than the switcher accepts directly. The audio reaches the ATEM Fairlight audio mixer, where it is adjusted with EQ and dynamics.
Audio quality
Each input has 8 separate A/D converters and a 32-bit digital preamp: 131 dB(A) dynamic range, -129 dBV noise floor, 0.002% total harmonic distortion at full scale, 24-bit 48 kHz output.
Connections and control
4 combined XLR and 1/4 inch jack inputs switchable between +24 dB line and mic level, with +48V phantom power; 64 channel MADI in and out on BNC; HDMI monitoring output with channel names, VU meters and 60 second waveform history; USB-C and Ethernet for setup with the free utility. External 12V supply with locking connector, 12 W maximum consumption.
