Blackmagic Design ATEM SDI – 4-input 3G-SDI live switcher
ATEM SDI brings the ATEM Mini format to the SDI world: it has 4 standards converted 3G-SDI inputs, 2 SDI outputs, a USB webcam output, chroma key, DVE and Fairlight audio mixer, in a compact and easy to use switcher.
What the ATEM SDI is for
It suits people working with professional SDI cameras and long cables: small control rooms, events, churches, schools, corporate studios. Locking BNC connectors are sturdier than HDMI and SDI signals travel longer distances.
Production features
One upstream keyer with advanced chroma key, one downstream keyer, a DVE with borders and shadows, transitions, pattern and color generators, a 20 image media pool with fill and key, a 6 input Fairlight audio mixer with EQ and dynamics.
Control
It is controlled from the front panel buttons, with the free ATEM Software Control for Mac and Windows or with optional ATEM hardware panels (Micro Panel, Advanced Panel, Camera Control Panel), connected over Ethernet or USB-C. Power consumption: 18 W, external 12V supply.
ATEM SDI, SDI Pro ISO or SDI Extreme ISO?
The base model has no streaming: ATEM SDI Pro ISO adds streaming and recording of every input, ATEM SDI Extreme ISO takes inputs to 8 and outputs to 4.
