Blackmagic Design ATEM Studio Converter 2 – Control room fiber converter for 4 cameras
ATEM Studio Converter 2 is the control room partner of the ATEM Camera Converter: it connects up to 4 Camera Converters over optical fiber, even tens of kilometers away, with bidirectional video, tally and talkback. It takes the ATEM switcher program output and distributes it to the 4 cameras.
What the ATEM Studio Converter 2 is for
It is used to build a fiber camera system: camera signals reach the switcher as normal SDI, the program returns to the cameras for monitoring and operators talk to the control room through talkback headsets. When there are more than 4 cameras, several Studio Converters are cascaded.

1 SDI program input from the switcher with tally, 4 SDI camera outputs and 1 program loop output, 4 single mode LC fiber inputs and 4 outputs, balanced stereo XLR audio outputs for each camera, aviation headsets with 0.25 and 0.206 inch TRS connectors, front XLR microphone, RCA monitor output, AES/EBU connections for linking other Studio Converters, mini-B USB for updates. Supports SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p30. 100-240V power with redundant 12-31V DC input.
