Blackmagic Design ATEM Talkback Converter 4K – Talkback and tally converter for 8 12G-SDI cameras
ATEM Talkback Converter 4K handles talkback for up to 8 cameras using embedded SDI audio channels 15 and 16, the same system used by Blackmagic Studio Cameras and the ATEM Camera Converter. It supports 12G-SDI in all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60, has BNC connections for each camera and a slot for optical fiber SFP modules for longer distances.
What the ATEM Talkback Converter 4K is for
In the control room it connects the crew headsets to the camera intercom: the director talks to the operators, who also get program and tally through the same SDI return cable. It has push to talk buttons, support for common aviation headsets, loop through for more than 8 cameras, a built in speaker and a front microphone input.

Talkback Converter 4K or Studio Converter 2?
Studio Converter 2 is used with fiber Camera Converters; Talkback Converter 4K is the choice with cameras connected over SDI, including 12G.
