Blackmagic Cinema Camera PL is a compact 2.5K digital film camera with a professional PL lens mount for manually operated cinema lenses. It offers 13 stops of dynamic range, a built in recorder for lossless compressed 12-bit CinemaDNG RAW, Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD onto removable 2.5" SSDs, and a strong machined aluminium chassis.

The 5" capacitive touchscreen is used for monitoring, settings and metadata entry. Connections include a 10-bit HD-SDI output, two balanced 1/4" jack audio inputs switchable between mic and line level, a headphone output, LANC remote control and a Thunderbolt port.
