Cintel Scanner is a complete solution for real time film scanning and grading: precision mechanical film handling, optics, a high intensity diffuse light source and a built in camera with 4096 x 3072 native resolution. Precision capstans handle film very gently.
What the Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ is for
It is for archives, film libraries, labs and post houses digitizing positive, negative, interpositive and internegative film, black and white and color. It transfers film directly to DaVinci Resolve, where reels are edited back together, graded, reframed, noise reduced and audio extracted from the image. HDR scans add up to 3.5 stops to the normal 12 stops of dynamic range.
