Cloud Pod: adapter turning any USB-C disk into shared network storage over 10G Ethernet, with HDMI monitor output and Blackmagic Cloud sync.
Blackmagic Design Cloud Pod – Turns USB-C disks into 10G network storage
Blackmagic Cloud Pod turns any USB-C disk into network storage, with a high speed 10G Ethernet connection for very fast file access.
What the Cloud Pod is for
It is ideal for sharing a disk recorded on a camera with multiple network users without copying it: for example disks from Blackmagic Cinema Cameras and URSA. A glow strip lights red during reads and writes. Like all Blackmagic Cloud products it shares files over the network with SMB and NFS, is set up with Blackmagic Cloud Setup and includes Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite. With Blackmagic Cloud it can sync files with other locations worldwide, and the HDMI output shows device name, storage capacity and use, sync status, user activity, hardware status and network data rate graphs on a monitor.
Connections
1 10G Ethernet port, 2 USB 3.0 ports for external disks, HDMI monitor output, up to 50 connections. The disk is purchased separately.
