Blackmagic Cloud Store is a fast, high-capacity network disk designed to handle the large media files used in feature film production. It is built on M.2 NVMe flash memory with RAID 5 distributed parity, so it handles many simultaneous users, and it is easy to set up. Files are shared over NFS and SMB with up to 200 computer connections, and Cloud Sync can synchronise content with Amazon Web Services S3.

Four 10G Ethernet ports and two 1G Ethernet ports connect editing and grading workstations. A USB-C ingest port automatically copies files from a USB drive to the Cloud Store, and a USB-C backup port automatically backs up files from the Cloud Store to a USB drive. The HDMI monitor output shows device name, capacity and use, Cloud Sync status, user activity, hardware status, a storage map and network data rate graphs, and a white or red glow underneath signals normal operation or a disk or power supply fault. Blackmagic Cloud Setup Utility and Blackmagic Proxy Generator Lite are included.
