DeckLink Duo 2 Mini brings four 3G-SDI channels to a low profile card. Each mini DIN connection can be configured as input or output, and the card works in all SD and HD formats up to 1080p60.
What the DeckLink Duo 2 Mini is for
It is the choice for multi channel systems in compact computers or 1RU and 2RU rack servers: playout, digital signage, multi source recording, monitoring. Mini DIN connectors take little space; standard BNC cables connect through mini DIN to BNC adapter cables.
Connections and quality
4 3G-SDI connections up to 12 bit, RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p30 (12-bit in playback only) and 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats, plus Black Burst or Tri-Sync reference input. Power consumption: 10 W.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 4 lane second generation PCI Express slot and also works in wider slots. It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac computers with PCI Express slots; the Desktop Video driver includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and the setup utility, and the free SDK lets you build the card into your own applications.
Duo 2 Mini or Duo 2?
Performance is the same: Duo 2 has standard BNCs and full height, Duo 2 Mini has mini DIN connectors and low profile.
