DeckLink IP 100G is the DeckLink card for large SMPTE 2110 broadcast networks: it handles up to 8 Ultra HD channels of simultaneous capture and playback, through two 100G QSFP28 optical fiber connections for full redundancy.
What the DeckLink IP 100G is for
It is designed for multi channel playout, graphics and replay servers, high density ingest and Ultra HD IP production systems. It works with Apple ProRes, DNxHD or 10-bit uncompressed video, in all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60.
Connections and quality
2 x 100 Gb/s QSFP28 ports (compatible modules are listed by Blackmagic Design), 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats, auxiliary power through a 6-pin connector. Power consumption: 50 W.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 8 lane fourth generation PCI Express slot and also works in wider slots. It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac computers with PCI Express slots; the Desktop Video driver includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and the setup utility, and the free SDK lets you build the card into your own applications.
IP 100G or IP HD?
For 2 HD channels over 10G Ethernet, DeckLink IP HD or IP HD Optical are enough; IP 100G is for Ultra HD and many channels on one card.
