Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K – 6G-SDI and HDMI 4K PCIe playback card
DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is the low profile playback card for Ultra HD work: it has one 6G-SDI output and one HDMI 2.0a output, detects and switches all formats up to 2160p30 automatically and also sends HDR metadata over HDMI.
What the DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K is for
It is the choice for reference monitoring in Ultra HD and HDR editing, grading and graphics, and for playback to monitors, projectors and playout systems. The Desktop Video SDK lets you build custom playback applications.
Outputs and quality
10-bit SD/HD/Ultra HD SDI output and HDMI 2.0a output with Deep Color up to 12 bit. On SDI it supports 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p60 and 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats; Ultra HD up to 2160p30 and 4K DCI up to 25p.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 4 lane second generation PCI Express slot and also works in wider slots. It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac computers with PCI Express slots; the Desktop Video driver includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and the setup utility, and the free SDK lets you build the card into your own applications.
Mini Monitor 4K or Mini Recorder 4K?
They share the same format and generation: Mini Monitor 4K plays back, DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K captures. To do both with one card there are DeckLink SDI 4K and Studio 4K.
