DeckLink SDI 4K is the card for people who work in SDI only but want the highest quality: it has a multi rate 6G-SDI input and output for SD, HD, 2K and Ultra HD up to 2160p30, RS-422 deck control, internal keying and reference input.
What the DeckLink SDI 4K is for
It is designed for editing, graphics and playout in SDI facilities: capture and playback on one card, deck control for capture and lay back, and keying graphics over incoming video.
Connections and quality
1 x 10-bit SD/HD/2K/4K SDI input and output, 4:2:2 at 6 Gb/s and 4:4:4 at 3 Gb/s (4:2:2 only in 4K); Sony compatible RS-422 port with reversible direction; Black Burst or Tri-Sync input.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 4 lane second generation PCI Express slot and also works in wider slots. It runs on Windows, Linux and Mac computers with PCI Express slots; the Desktop Video driver includes Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey and the setup utility, and the free SDK lets you build the card into your own applications.
SDI 4K, Studio 4K or 4K Extreme 12G?
DeckLink Studio 4K adds HDMI and analog connections; 4K Extreme 12G goes to 12G-SDI and 2160p60. If you need SDI only up to 2160p30, SDI 4K is the most compact and affordable.
