DeckLink SDI Micro brings broadcast SDI to the smallest computers: it is an M.2 card with 3G-SDI connections for simultaneous capture and playback in all SD and HD formats up to 1080p60, and it also has a Black Burst and Tri-Sync reference input.
What the DeckLink SDI Micro is for
It is designed for portable and embedded solutions based on mini PCs and compact computers: graphics and titling for small control rooms, recording, monitoring, embedded systems. It installs in an M.2 slot instead of a PCI Express slot.
Formats and quality
SD (NTSC and PAL) and HD up to 1080p60, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling, 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p30 and 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats. Maximum power consumption: 4 W.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 1 lane third generation M.2 PCI Express slot, B or M key, 2260 or 2280 size. It works with the Desktop Video driver, which includes Media Express and the setup utility.
SDI Micro or Micro Recorder?
DeckLink Micro Recorder uses a Mini PCIe slot and only captures; SDI Micro captures and plays back and uses an M.2 slot.
