H.264 encoder for capturing SD and HD from SDI, HDMI and analog component/composite sources, with balanced audio, RS-422 deck control and Media Express software for Mac and Windows.
Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder
H.264 Pro Recorder captures from professional broadcast decks and other video sources directly to SD and HD H.264 files, ready for websites, YouTube and mobile devices. It accepts SDI, HDMI and analog component or composite video, with audio from SDI, HDMI or the balanced analog stereo inputs; all inputs switch between SD and HD, so it can capture from HDCAM, Digital Betacam, Betacam SP, DVD players and more.
It is also a way to archive programmes on ageing videotape formats as digital files. The included Blackmagic Media Express software handles batch capture with CMX EDL import and frame accurate RS-422 deck control on Mac and Windows; the unit connects to the computer via USB 2.0.
