Blackmagic DVI Extender
DVI Extender carries the DVI-D output of a computer over SDI cables, so computer displays can be placed anywhere in a facility or routed to several monitors through a 3 Gb/s SDI router. At the other end, an HDLink Pro or HDLink Optical Fiber converts the signal back for the monitor, so noisy computers can be moved out of client rooms.
It also works as a DVI to SD/HD-SDI video converter: in Video Output mode it outputs NTSC, PAL, 720 HD or 1080 HD SDI video, useful for real time broadcast graphics, digital signage and presentations. Computer audio from the 3.5 mm input jack is embedded in the SDI signal. The connection is fully digital, pixel for pixel, and the unit is powered from any USB port, which also loads new formats.
