HyperDeck Studio HD Mini is the most compact HyperDeck Studio: it uses the Teranex Mini form factor, so with the Teranex Mini Rack Shelf three fit in one rack unit, or it sits alongside switchers, converters and streaming processors of the same size.
What the HyperDeck Studio HD Mini is for
It records a switcher's program, plays out clips live or records single cameras in HD. Connected over USB to a computer it also works as a webcam, for use with any video software. HyperDeck Studio models record to SD cards and, depending on the model, to SSDs or USB-C disks, in standard ProRes, DNx and H.264 files (H.265 for Ultra HD on the 4K Pro) that can be edited immediately without conversion. They are controlled from the front panel, via RS-422 like broadcast decks or over the network with the HyperDeck Ethernet protocol.

Studio HD Mini (3G-SDI, compact), Studio HD Plus (6G-SDI, fill and key), Studio HD Pro (full rack width with SSD), Studio 4K Pro (12G-SDI, 10G Ethernet, dual power supply). For the desktop with touchscreen there are the HyperDeck Shuttle models.
