Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K – HDMI and analog Ultra HD PCIe card
Intensity Pro 4K is the PCIe card for HDMI and analog capture and playback: it works with NTSC/PAL, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p30, with or without compression, and is compatible with the main editing, audio and streaming software.
What Intensity Pro 4K is for
It suits people working with HDMI cameras and equipment who still need to capture from analog sources, such as videotapes and old decks: editing, archive digitization, streaming, presentations. DaVinci Resolve and Media Express are included free.
Connections and quality
HDMI type A in and out, component, composite or S-Video in and out (component in SD and HD), 2 channels of 24-bit RCA audio in and out. Over HDMI it supports 8 and 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 up to 1080p60 and 8 and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 in all formats.
Installation and compatibility
It uses a 4 lane PCI Express slot and also works in 8 and 16 lane slots, on Windows, Linux and Mac computers with PCI Express slots.
Intensity Pro 4K or DeckLink Studio 4K?
DeckLink Studio 4K adds SDI, professional balanced audio, AES/EBU, reference and RS-422 control; Intensity Pro 4K is the more affordable choice when HDMI and consumer analog are enough.
