Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time in all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. Each direction can use a different standard: it is like two converters in one, in an all metal, rugged body small enough to hide anywhere.
What the Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G is for
It is designed for Ultra HD live production and broadcast: connect HDMI cameras and computers to 12G-SDI facilities and bring the program back to HDMI monitors, or carry 4K signals between devices with different connections.

SDI input and SDI output matching the HDMI input, at 270 Mb, 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G; HDMI 2.0 type A in and out; SD, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, 2K DCI, Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats; USB-C for power, setup and updates. Maximum power consumption: 5 W.
Power
It is powered from any USB-C socket, for example a computer, a monitor or a charger; a version with power supply included is also available.
How to choose
If you only work in HD, the Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G costs less and also converts the camera control protocol.
