Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G is Blackmagic Design's smallest bidirectional broadcast converter: it converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time, even with different formats in each direction, in SD and HD up to 1080p60.
What the Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G is for
It is ideal for connecting an HDMI camera to an SDI switcher and sending the program back to it, or for adding HDMI monitors and devices to an SDI facility. It also converts the camera control protocol, so Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras can be used with professional SDI switchers, with tally and control from the control room.
Connections
SD, HD or 3G-SDI input and SDI output matching the HDMI input; HDMI type A in and out; level A or B for 3G-SDI selectable in the setup utility; USB-C for power, setup and updates. Power consumption: 2.5 W.
Power
It is powered from any USB-C socket, for example a computer, a monitor or a charger; a version with power supply included is also available.
