Blackmagic Design Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G – 6G-SDI to HDMI converter with LUTs and audio
Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G converts SDI to HDMI in SD, HD and Ultra HD and de-embeds audio to HDMI, AES/EBU or balanced analog outputs. It has advanced features: down conversion for viewing Ultra HD on HD HDMI monitors and built in 3D LUTs.
What the Mini Converter SDI to HDMI 6G is for
It suits monitoring in the control room and on set on HDMI TVs and monitors, and sending audio to a PA system. The backup SDI input takes over automatically if the main input fails.
Connections
SD, HD or 6G-SDI input with backup input, SDI loop output, HDMI type A output, 2 channels of balanced analog audio and 2 channels of AES/EBU output. Power consumption: 5.2 W.
Build and power
Like all Blackmagic Mini Converters it has a rugged metal case, is set up with switches and the free utility over USB, and includes the +12V universal power supply with socket adapters for most countries.
How to choose
For monitoring only without audio outputs, the Micro Converter SDI to HDMI is smaller and cheaper.
