Mini Converter UpDownCross HD is a full standards converter: it converts any SD or HD video format to any other SD or HD format, with SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, reference input for re-sync and high quality Teranex conversion algorithms.
What the Mini Converter UpDownCross HD is for
It is used when sources and facility work in different formats: converting 1080i to 720p, SD to HD for older material, 1080p to 1080i for playout, or matching an HDMI signal to the control room format.
Connections
SD, HD or 3G-SDI input, HDMI type A input, loop output and 2 SDI outputs, HDMI output supporting the monitor EDID, Black Burst and Tri-Sync reference input. Power consumption: 5 W.
Build and power
Like all Blackmagic Mini Converters it has a rugged metal case, is set up with switches and the free utility over USB, and includes the +12V universal power supply with socket adapters for most countries.
