Blackmagic Design Streaming Encoder 4K – H.264 and H.265 Ultra HD streaming encoder
Blackmagic Streaming Encoder 4K is a self-contained streaming processor sending H.264 and H.265 in HD or Ultra HD over SRT or RTMP, directly to services such as YouTube, Facebook, X and more, without a computer.
What the Streaming Encoder 4K is for
It is for high quality live streams from SDI switchers and cameras: stream over Ethernet or by connecting a 5G or 4G phone. The 12G-SDI input is standards converted, the USB webcam output reaches 2160p60 and there is a streaming monitor output. With the Streaming Decoder 4K it forms a complete video link over the internet. It is set up from the front panel with 6 buttons, knob and 2.2" display, over USB-C or Ethernet, and has a REST API for external control. One third rack width, 1 rack unit high; internal 100-240V supply and 12V DC input on 4-pin XLR.
Connections and power
12G-SDI input with loop output, SDI and HDMI monitor outputs, USB-C webcam output up to 2160p60, Gigabit Ethernet. 25 W consumption.
