Blackmagic Design Teranex AV – Standards converter for events and AV, SDI and HDMI
Teranex AV is the Teranex standards converter designed for live events and professional AV installations, as well as broadcast and post production: 1089 up, down, cross and standards conversions up to 2160p60, with patented algorithms and Teranex image quality.
What the Teranex AV is for
It is used at events and installations where sources of every kind arrive, including computers, to match the format of projectors, LED walls and the control room. Low latency processing (2 frames on selected conversions) and switching to black, a still or a freeze frame are designed for live work.
Processing
Fixed and variable aspect ratio conversion, noise reduction, cadence handling, scene cut detection, color correction and hardware colorspace conversion.
Connections
SDI input up to 12G with loop, SDI output up to 12G and 4 Quad Link or Quad HD Split outputs, HDMI 2.0 input with loop and HDMI 2.0 output, optical fiber with optional SFP module, analog XLR and RCA and AES/EBU audio, 16 embedded audio channels, timecode, reference input and output. Internal 100-240V supply, 42 W typical consumption.
Teranex AV or Teranex Express?
