Teranex Express is a real time broadcast standards converter for SD, HD and Ultra HD: with patented Teranex algorithms it delivers visually transparent conversions to the level required by major broadcasters and studios, with 1089 up, down, cross and standards conversion combinations.
What the Teranex Express is for
It serves broadcasters, post production facilities and OB vans that must convert programs between formats and frame rates, for example 50 to 59.94 Hz, HD to Ultra HD or Ultra HD to HD, at the highest quality.
Processing
Fixed and variable aspect ratio conversion, noise reduction, cadence detection and handling, scene cut detection, color correction and hardware colorspace conversion.
Connections
10-bit SDI input up to 12G with re-clocked loop, SDI output up to 12G and Quad HD Split outputs, optical fiber in and out with optional SFP module, 16 embedded audio channels, VITC/ATC timecode, reference input. Internal 100-240V supply, 42 W typical consumption.
