Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G – SDI and optical fiber to HDMI converter
Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G converts SDI and SMPTE optical fiber to HDMI: by inserting the fiber SFP module of your choice you receive video with embedded audio over huge distances, in 3G, 6G or 12G-SDI. A down converter lets you view Ultra HD sources on HD displays.
What the Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G is for
It brings a control room signal to distant screens and projectors at events, stadiums, churches and campuses over fiber.
Connections
12G-SDI input, fiber input with optional single mode 1310 nm SFP module and loop output, HDMI 2.0 output up to 2160p60, 2 channels of balanced analog and 4 channels of AES/EBU audio output on XLR (the right XLR can be a timecode output).
Build and power
Like all Teranex Minis it has an internal 100-240V power supply (IEC cable required), can also be powered over PoE+ Ethernet at 48V, is set up over USB or Ethernet and accepts the optional Smart Panel with LCD, knob and 6 buttons for front panel control. Power consumption is 16 W.
