Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 12G – 12G-SDI to HDMI converter with XLR audio
Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 12G converts SDI to HDMI in all SD, HD, 6G and 12G-SDI formats up to 2160p60. With an HDMI monitor it selects the best format the screen supports thanks to the down converter, and de-embeds audio to analog or AES/EBU XLR outputs.
What the Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 12G is for
It suits professional monitoring in control rooms, machine rooms and events, where you need a rugged rack mountable converter with separate audio to PA or desk.
Connections
12G-SDI input and 12G-SDI loop output, HDMI 2.0 output up to 2160p60, 2 channels of balanced analog and 4 channels of AES/EBU audio output on XLR (the right XLR can be a timecode output).
Build and power
Like all Teranex Minis it has an internal 100-240V power supply (IEC cable required), can also be powered over PoE+ Ethernet at 48V, is set up over USB or Ethernet and accepts the optional Smart Panel with LCD, knob and 6 buttons for front panel control. Power consumption is 16 W.
How to choose
For monitoring only without separate audio outputs, the Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 12G is smaller and cheaper.
