Ultimatte 12 HD is a real time compositing processor for keying live action video into next generation broadcast graphics, virtual sets and more. It has new algorithms and color science, excellent edge handling and color separation, great color fidelity and better spill suppression than ever.
What the Ultimatte 12 HD is for
It is used in broadcast control rooms and virtual set studios: the 3G-SDI design works in HD with sub-pixel processing. Separate inputs for background, garbage matte and holdout matte, separate fill and matte outputs, reference and GPIO. Ultimatte 12 models use Ultimatte algorithms and color science for photorealistic composites, with edge handling, color separation and spill suppression. They have 6GB of internal memory for background stills and layers, re-sync on all inputs and are controlled from the front panel, the Ultimatte software for Mac and Windows or the Ultimatte Smart Remote 4.
