UltraStudio Mini Replay 12G

UltraStudio Mini Replay 12G is a compact bi-directional interface that gives a Thunderbolt 4 computer simultaneous 12G-SDI capture and playback over a single cable. It is designed for broadcast graphics, AI image processing and live action replay: two 12G-SDI outputs operate as independent fill and key feeds into a switcher's downstream keyer, while a separate 12G-SDI output is dedicated to monitoring, so the operator can cue the next replay while another clip is on air. The 12G-SDI input is ideal for viewing a switcher multi-view as a live source. Data and power travel over the Thunderbolt cable, with no external PSU required.

Software and operating systems

Supplied with Media Express, Disk Speed Test, LiveKey, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility and the Blackmagic driver on macOS and Windows; Media Express, Desktop Video Utility and driver on Linux. Firmware is embedded in the driver and updated at system start or through the updater.
