Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 – 4.6K Super 35 cinema camera up to 300 fps
URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 is a cinema camera with a 4.6K Super 35 HDR sensor with 15 stops of dynamic range, able to shoot up to 300 frames per second. It has built in optical ND filters, an interchangeable EF mount with optional PL, B4 or F mounts, external broadcast style controls, a backlit status display and a foldout touchscreen.
What the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 is for
It is a versatile camera between film and television: documentaries, commercials, events, sports and slow motion. With the optional B4 mount it takes broadcast lenses, with the PL mount cinema lenses.
Formats and recording
It shoots 4.6K, 4K DCI, Ultra HD, 3K anamorphic and 2K and HD formats. It records Blackmagic RAW and ProRes to 2 CFast 2.0 slots, 2 SD UHS-II slots or directly to external disks over USB-C.
Connections
SDI output and SDI monitoring output, 2 XLR audio inputs switchable between mic, line and AES with phantom power, 4 position ND filters (clear, 2, 4 and 6 stops). External 12V supply and rear mount for V-mount or gold mount battery plates.
Software
Every Blackmagic camera includes DaVinci Resolve Studio, the editing, grading, effects and audio software used in film and television, which reads Blackmagic RAW files directly.
4.6K G2 or 12K?
URSA Mini Pro 12K has much higher resolution for film and effects; 4.6K G2 has lighter files, frame rates up to 300 fps and a more accessible price.
