Blackmagic Camera 2.1

This software update supports lossless compressed CinemaDNG RAW recording for all Blackmagic Cinema Cameras plus frame guides and new Camera Control Setup software for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and Blackmagic Cinema Cameras. Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera now has new language menu options for Japanese and Chinese.

Installing Blackmagic Camera Setup

Before installing the software, we recommend that you run "Uninstall Camera Utility" first.

After loading the software on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera EF or MFT, you may notice a slight flickering on the built-in LCD screen. This is normal and expected behaviour. The flickering will go away after a few minutes of operation.

Particular note

Blackmagic Design's support team has informed that to upgrade the firmware on some Blaclmagic URSA, it is necessary to apply the upgradese by steps, applying all the versions one after each other, between the version installed on the camera and the latest.
