SmallRig Shoulder Pad Pro for Sony VCT-14 2837B
The SmallRig 2837B shoulder pad is designed for the Sony VCT-14 quick release baseplate. It combines a SmallRig quick release plate on top for the camera and a Manfrotto 501 quick release plate connected to the shoulder pad, for quick changes between shoulder, handheld and tripod shooting. Standard M6 ARRI rosettes on both sides accept the 1810 handle or the original FX9 handle, and dual 15mm rod clamps (60 mm spacing) are provided at front and rear; the front clamp adjusts 27 mm vertically to give 85 mm between lens centre and rod centre for cameras such as FX9, FS5, URSA Mini and Canon C300. The Manfrotto 501 plate slides 0-80 mm forward and the SmallRig plate 0-120 mm backward for balancing, and the front rods move with the 501 plate, so follow focus and matte box need not be removed. The V-shaped base has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for other plates and tripods, the silicone shoulder pad is ergonomic and soft, and a flat wrench is built in.
