The SmallRig 3874 magic arm is compact and lightweight. Both ball heads are 20 mm in diameter: one has a 1/4"-20 screw, the other an ARRI locating screw, and both have stretchable pins that prevent twisting. An adjustable thumb lever locks the ball heads at the desired angle, and a small magnetic wrench at the bottom of the lever tightens the thumbwheels. Notches at both ends of the ball head clamp leave more room to adjust the ball heads and the accessories mounted on them. At only 90 g it is easy to carry and store.
