The Unified Baseplate carries two 15 mm lightweight rods at the correct lens height and releases in two ways: leaving the rods on the tripod or taking them with the camera.

- Pass-through 15 mm rods with two locking thumbscrews per side
- Upper ARCA Swiss dovetail with ¼"-20 holes for gimbals and tripod plates
- Vertical 15 mm rod opening to support a lens adapter foot
- Lower dovetail with ¼"-20 and ⅜"-16 holes for tripod plates and ARRI standard bridge plates
- Integrated ARRI dovetail slot under the base
